Walters Brook is a tributary of the Swan River and part of the Banks Reserve, a major natural, cultural and recreational area. The brook is heavily eroded and contains little of its original vegetation.

This project will stabilise the brook by re-contouring its banks and planting native sedges and rushes in the riparian area.

These works will help return the brook to an effective nutrient stripping waterway that will provide migratory birds and endemic fauna with a functional habitat.

    Investment: $ 45 000
    Delivery organisation: City of Vincent
    Project duration: March 2012 - March 2013
Location: Walters Brook, adjacent to 60 Joel Terrace Mount Lawley
