    Black-winged stilt: Himantopus himantopus

    This project builds on restoration works started at Pelican Point in project 10010. It will focus on the development of a Bush Management Plan, the removal of weeds and their replacement with indigenous vegetation.

    A community education strategy focusing on young people also will be developed.

    The project is proceeding with the help of State NRM Program funding.
