12131: Friends of Mortlock and Mortlock South mid-catchment restoration - Duck Pool to Quailing Gully
Mortlock River as a major contributor of sediment, salt and nutrients to the Swan-Avon catchment. Its catchment is degraded and foreshore vegetation generally consists of trees over weeds or pasture.
This project will focus on fencing, weed control and revegetation between the Mortlock - Mortlock East confluence and Quailing Gully.
Activities of the project will be used as an example to encourage landholders in the catchment to build on rehabilitation works.
