The physical, ecological and biological integrity of five waterways in the Geographe catchment will be protected and enhanced by this project.

    • Jingarmup Brook
    • Toby's Inlet
    • Annie Brook
    • Carbunup River
    • Capel River

These waterways have strong ecological values but are under threat from livestock, weeds and tree decline.

    This project will:

    • fence riparian areas to prevent stock access
    • install off-stream watering points for stock
    • control weeds on and revegetate riparian areas

    With the aim of:

    • protecting remnant riparian vegetation
    • reducing erosion risk and sedimentation
    • increasing vegetation health and providing habitat
    Investment: $ 39 250
    Delivery organisation: Geographe Catchment Council
    Project duration: January 2013 - September 2014
Location: Geographe catchment (sub catchments Jingarmup Brook, Toby’s Inlet, Annie Brook, Carbunup River and Capel River)
