This project is a continuation of project 12095.

Project 12095 controlled Watsonia, Blackberry, Ficus and Eastern States wattle along Bickley Brook and around the Reservoir. These areas were then revegetated with locally native plants.

This project will continue weed control across the same area, re-treating watsonia (which is close to eradication) and treating weeds that have come up in its place.

Regeneration of native species from the seed bank is expected to continue as weed control continues.

Infill planting of 1000 native seedlings will occur in weeded areas so that the area is well vegetated with native species.

    Investment: $ 17 050
Delivery organisation: South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare
    Project duration: December 2013 - November 2015
Location: Bickley Brook and Reservoir in Orange Grove
