13053: Yellagonga Regional Park Woodvale revegetation enhancement project (stage 2)
This project is stage two of a five-year plan to revegetate and restore the southern reaches of Lake Joondalup in the Yellagonga Regional Park.
The site is a primary breeding ground for a number of migratory and local water birds and endangered tortoises and provides nesting and feeding habitat for the endangered Carnaby Black Cockatoo.
The four hectare site will be weeded and revegetated with 450 locally native species during 2014/15 in this stage of the project.
