13077: Protection and extension of bushland corridors in the Moolyall Woodenup catchment

Moolyall Woodenup catchment is located in the south-coastal Shire of Ravensthorpe. Remnant vegetation in the catchment provides an important feed source for nesting Carnaby's cockatoo and nesting habitat for Malleefowl.

This project will protect high value remnant vegetation on a privately owned property in the catchment. 1.6 kilometres of creek-line will also be revegetated to create a corridor through the property to adjoining bushland.

Once complete, all remnant vegetation and revegetated areas on the property will be fenced. Foxes and rabbits will also be controlled.

Delivery organisation: Moolyall Woodenup Catchment Group Inc
    Project duration: November 2013 - September 2014
