This project will support farmers in the Badgebup district of Katanning to continue their fight against salinity.

It aims to improve the sustainability of their mixed farming enterprises and increase the area and connectivity of native vegetation between Katanning and Kojonup - an important wildlife corridor.

Work will help protect a 650 hectare area and will include:

    • planting of over 20 000 native seedlings to rehabilitate cleared agricultural land and grazed bushland
    Investment: $ 50 000
Delivery organisation: Katanning Land Conservation District Committee
    Project duration: September 2013 - March 2015
    Location: Badgebup district of Katanning
