    13094: Improving the health of Threatened Ecological Communities in Serpentine Jarrahdale and North Murray

    This project aims to improve the health and resilience of five bushland reserves in Serpentine Jarrahdale and Murray Shires.

    Each reserve contains Threatened Ecological Communities; two of these have been identified in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.

    Project activities include:

    • weed and vegetation mapping at North Dandalup Primary School Reserve
    • weed removal at all five reserves in spring and autumn over 2 years
    • seed collecting at Mundijong Road and Duckpond Reserves
    • planting of 6000 local native seedlings at Brickwood, Mundijong Road, Duckpond, Myara Brook, and North Dandalup Primary School Reserves.
