Millennium Kids Inc. are a group of young people aged 10 to 25 committed to improving the environment through constructive action. Their aim is to develop partnerships which empower young people to explore, identify and address environmental issues.
This project 'A Classroom without walls' will train young Aboriginal people in the identification and uses of bush tucker and bush medicine plants with the help of local elders and scientists.
The young people will then identify appropriate plants for a school bush garden and lead a community education workshop sharing the knowledge they have gained.
