    14033: Site investigations and weed control for management of wetland interface

    The Peel Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association acquired an area of degraded farmland in the City of Kwinana adjacent to a chain of conservation category wetlands.

    This project aims to boost the group's knowledge of environmental considerations in land management and provide technical knowledge to enable them to undertake informed management practices.

    Activities include site investigations including soil testing and mapping, dieback assessment and mapping, wetland boundary and buffer determination and mapping, and wetland weed control.

    Purpose of project

    The aim of this project is to undertake site investigations including soil testing and mapping, dieback assessment and mapping, wetland boundary and buffer mapping, and wetland weed control in order to better plan and manage of Peel RDA's horse agistment area which is adjacent to conservation wetlands.
