14050: Kill the Bride – Bridal Creeper Control Program

Bridal creeper is known to cause significant damage to native vegetation stands throughout the south-west, with its ability to blanket and kill plants and prevent new seedlings from germinating. The Wagin Woodanilling Landcare Zone has been managing this weed in the region since 2009, targeting its removal within public shire reserves.

This project will build on this work by treating 218ha of high value public reserve with significant stands of remnant and riparian vegetation.
