    Bannister Creek is the main drainage channel from residential areas in Lynwood and Parkwood and the Canning Vale industrial estate and is a significant tributary of the Swan Canning Estuary. It lies within a reserve managed by the City of Canning and Water Corporation.

    This project aims to improve water quality and habitat for fauna in the creek by reducing sedimentation. Activities include earthworks to reduce bank slope, weed control, revegetation with local native species, and installation of a riffle and sediment pool.
