    15044: Protection of Biodiversity in Denmark, WA

    Denmark Weed Action Group (DWAG) in partnership with Denmark Green Army, Shire of Denmark and community volunteers will consolidate and extend previous manual weed control and mapping works funded by State NRM over the last 4 years in bushland reserves vested in the Shire of Denmark.

    We will be targeting Weeds of National Significance (WoNS), Declared Plants (DP) and Denmark Shire Pest Plants (PP) including: Rubus species (WoNS; DP); Asparagus scandens (WoNS; DP); Lantana camara (WoNS; DP); Zantedeschia aethiopica (DP); Watsonia species (PP); Pittosporum undulatum (PP); Acacia longifolia (PP); and Dipogon lignosus (PP).

    Works will take place in good to excellent condition bushland, initially targeting outlier and isolated weed populations as well as weed seedlings and weed regrowth from previous works.
