ECOMAY 2016 encourages groups to organise eco-themed activities to enjoy nature, build awareness of special places, campaigns or their organisations, and encourage community members to get involved and expand their influence on the wider community.  As WA's environmental peak body, CCWA provides the organisational framework to enable community groups and their volunteers to get involved in sharing the knowledge around their local environment which in turn allows the organisation to build capacity.  Getting out into nature, having fun with friends and learning about the environment are great ways to build a stronger community and promote a healthy planet.
